Countless times our circle has found ourselves going into deep rants while conversing with close friends and even complete strangers about our great times at Essence Fest. However, we can’t deny that year after some of our boys still front on attending. Actually, part of the energy for this website comes from our boys who have yet to experience Essence Fest. Therefore, we have decided to detail to let all fellas that have haven’t been to know why that needs to change.

Really, the fellas that vacations everywhere but never come to Essence Fest are wilding. We have been telling fellas for years that it’s the truth. Still many fellas have fronted in spite of our consistent urging. In hindsight, with no website that verified the social Essence Fest experience we conveyed we now realize it was hard for fellas (ladies too) to understand all that it brings. Essence Fest websites focus on the concerts and the excited patrons ready to see more great performances but contain very little discussion concerning the social landscape.

Let’s be truthful most men are not attending Essence Fest for its musical content unless accompanied by their significant other. We understand those fellas that have that one “man” trip a year and are not trying to waste it. What we are telling you fellas if you think Essence Fest is a waste you are wrong, dead wrong. Essence Fest’s unique atmosphere is combined with tons of beautiful black women. From physical to intellectual attributes and everything in between, Essence Fest provides the whole spectrum of black women.

The women embody an all day happy feel because they are mostly at Essence Fest just to have fun. There’s not the abundance of snubbing and/or malice prevalent when approaching women that we have seen other places. So at Essence Fest, beautiful women that look unapproachable are mostly friendly and approachable. Even if you approach someone, who’s not interested the rejection is usually done with a smile. So if you have game you will have chance to use it but we can’t say you will be effective. On top of all of that, the ratio of these beautiful black women to men is excellent.
